Welcome to live updates of the Kiwis' opening game of the rugby league World Cup against Samoa in Warrington.
This is the second game in group B today following the France-Papua New Guinea clash which is just about to end in Hull. France lead 9-8 with a minute to play.
PNG's David Mead missed a penalty attempt from 20m out, right in front with two minutes left. France win it 9-8 to go top of group B.

Samoa restart and the ball holds up in the wind before Roger Tuivasa-Sheck makes a nice catch with pressure on him.
Waerea-Hargreaves with another big run. Will be interesting how long he can keep it up for as he often does split shifts for the Roosters.

Tuivasa-Sheck may have scored the third. Video ref to decide. Not sure he if grounded it in a big dive for the corner.
