The Cowboys defended brilliantly and scored tries to yle Feldt and Javid Bowen. The Warriors just didn't get into the game and passes couldn't find their mark as they became more desperate
It's a shame for the big crowd here but they will now see two Queensland teams battling it out for the inaugural title.
Shaun Johnson was excellent throughout the tournament and Sam Tomkins also looked good at times. They are now do a lap of Eden Park to acknowledge the crowd
The Warriors were the only unbeaten team in the semifinals but looked like they ran out of steam. It is a brutal format and survival is crucial. The Cowboys looked very strong in that match
Well, well, well. It's fair to say the crowd did not expect that result. There were a few fans streaming for the exits at the hooter but that easily could have been to grab another beer, rather than beat the traffic.
Hopefully you all will be sticking around fort the final, between the Broncos and the Cowboys, set for a 7.30pm kick-off.
In the meantime, we will have an Australia v New Zealand media match on the field, with Andrew Johns captaining the Aussies and Monty Beetham doing likewise for the Kiwis.
Among the luminaries are James McOnie, Jennie-May Coffin and Gordon Tallis. I would stay well clear of a McOnie hit-up.
Jeez that's tough from the Tigers.
Great photo-bomb there on Tamou.
Sadly, this media game is touch rather than tackle. Would've been quite pleasing seeing some of these guys getting lit up.
I can exclusively reveal Big Dell has changed his nickname to Really Big Dell.
Joey Johns has still got it. Maybe he could come out of retirement for next year's Nines.
McOnie just about broke through for a try. That would produced a bigger roar than any Warriors gae=me.
While the Warriors were favourites, check out the odds of the teams that actually made the final:
The media game is over and we're about seven minutes away from the final.
The Broncos are coming back in after their warm-up and, judging on their reception in earlier games, I imagine they will be the favourites for many fans now the Warriors are out.
We're about to kickoff. The Battle of Queensland
And a Broncos chant goes up.
