Oh dear. The Wallabies have wasted a sure thing. Folau did so well to make a break and the Aussies look destined to score. But it was a poor pass from Phipps which was put down by the first receiver. They won't get many more chances than that.

What a finish to the half. It was Dane Coles who sliced the Wallabies defence open and from the break it looked like the All Blacks would score. But the Wallabies got good number quickly behind the ball and the ABs threw the ball wide to Savea. He was one on one with Kuridrani and the Aussie defender did well to force him into touch.

Wayne Barnes has come a long way since presiding over the Allblacks v France a few years back when he made a breakfast of that! He is has moved up - now hovering somewhere just below woeful.
