It was another messy half for the All Blacks. They lacked cohesion and were guilty of a number of knock-ons and unforced errors, but they did score two good tries. Tonga will be happy with their first half, they showed great strength at the scrum, unity in defence and were very unlucky not to have a try right before halftime.

Isn't the World Cup supposed to be testing yourself against the world's best? This group format is flawed beyond belief. The AB's have fallen victim to it and look as average as Italy or Romania.

The all blacks won't fail....its about winning your games well enough so that you progress through to the play offs. It's definitely not about how much point you get. The bonus point is important, but that's it.

Great play from the AB backline splits open Tonga but they can't turn it into points. Carter opened a gap nicely for Ben Smith but Tonga earned a penalty at the breakdown.

Tonga kick to Milner Skudder and the ABs winger soars through the air to collect and put the ABs on the front foot. They swing the ball left to Nonu but his kick is belted into touch on the full.

That was a real pleasure to watch from Tonga. They attacked with real intent and looked like they had to score out side. They had a 6 -2 overlap out wide on the right but as the ball worked it's way through their hands it was knocked on.
