What did you guys make of the first half? There were a couple of highlights but overall I thought it was very scrappy. The most exciting moments have come from Fiji. Nadolo's try and the disallowed try from Matawalu were the two times we really said 'wow'.
As the half wore on Fiji got stronger and are in no way out of this match. But they must keep their discipline and tidy up their handling in attacking areas.
Herald rugby expert Wynne Gray has just chipped in with some halftime analysis:
Fiji look much more dangerous but they are hurting themselves. Difficult conditions but England are nervous and uncertain, pressure as hosts.
Here are Will Carling's thoughts: 'England have looked fluid and dangerous in attack. They have also shown their forward power from the line-out. They will want to put more pressure on the Fiji scrum and cut out the handling errors. Fiji have shown how potent they can be, and England must not given them any more encouragement'
We're back underway as England kick off deep down to Fiji who handle well.
Matawalu clears from his own 22 and England are quickly back on attack.
England into their 7th phase now, swinging the ball from right to left.
But the Fijian defence stands strong and force a turn over. The ball was knocked on by England and so Fiji will set the scrum 40m out from their line.
Nadolo clears off the back of the scrum for Fiji but he's put too much on it and the ball sails out on the full. England lineout from just outside the 22.
England win the lineout and set the driving maul.
But Fiji deal with it well and earn a penalty. England penalised for 'sealing off'.
Fiji win the lineout on halfway and set up their first attack of the half.
Fiji shuffle the ball left to right and are working it nicely into their 7th phase before Volavola nudges through a clever grubber kick. The Fijian chaser was obstructed on his run to gather possession and Fiji have earned a penalty in kicking range.
But Nadolo has hooked his kick from 45 metres. The score remains England 18 Fiji 8

PENALTY TO ENGLAND! Ford kicks for touch as England win a penalty at the scrum.
England win the lineout and Ford goes for a crossfield kick from left to right. It's judged well but it's right on the head of Nadolo and the ball is lost forward.
But the ref has pulled the play back for an earlier English infringement and Fiji have a penalty. The ref and TMO are really making themselves the center of attention today.
Fiji try running the ball out from deep, before thinking better of it and thumping the ball down field. England do the same, it's all very scrappy.
Looks like Stuart Lancaster isn't too pleased with his side's performance so far. Four changes, giving his replacements 30 minutes to first put this game to bed, and also show their worth to be selected in the big games in Pool A - against Australia and Wales.
Somewhere in all that mess there was a Fijian knockon so England will have the scrum on halfway.
PENALTY TO FIJI! Fiji have overpowered the English scrum once again and earned another penalty.
Good attacking chance for Fiji now, but they don't make the most of it. Once again it's scrappy through the hands and they end up kicking aimlessly down field.
Fiji win the ball back and very nearly break down the left wing through Nadolo. But just when it looked like the big man was going to break clear he was bundled into touch. Good defence in the end from England.

England are perched 10m out now.
A long phase of English possession ends fruitlessly. That was a good phase for England but once again they couldn't convert their chance.
