Mike Brown bundles his way over the line for England's second in the left corner.
It started with a swift move from an English lineout. The ball was swung from left to right and some desperate defending prevented England scoring in the right corner. But England pinched the Fijian lineout from 10m out, swung the ball left and outnumbered the Fijian backline to easily touch down.
It was going to be tough enough for Fiji with 15 men, but going down to 14 has caused them more problems - England making the most of their extra numbers in the backline. Fiji are back to 15 now, but the damage has likely been done
24 MINS: ENGLAND 15 FIJI 0
This game is quickly getting away from Fiji. They need a quick response. They work their way through seven phases as they advance up to the English 22 before the ball is turned over.
England have defended well but it hasn't been a very good performance from Fiji so far.
Wow, that came out of nowhere.
Fiji had a scrum on halfway and Nikola Matawalu pinched the ball on the blindside and sprinted 50m to get to the line.
But, oh no. It looks like the try will be disallowed.
As Matawalu was reaching for the line the ball came lose. He dropped the ball. So close for the Fijians, so disappointing. That would have been a super try.
The right decision has been reached, the TMO has disallowed the try. It remains England 15 Fiji 0.
So, just over 10 mins to play in the first half and England have a scrum on their own goal line.
But Fiji have turned it over.
Volavola released a perfect crossfield kick to Nadolo who flew over the English winger to touch down. We are checking upstairs with the TMO now but it looks good to me.
There was only going to be one winner when Nadolo went up against Joseph. The giant Fijian winger easily outclimbed Joseph and Fiji are back in it. But it may be the scrum loss that worries England the most. They were bullied by the Fijian pack on their own line.
Volavola misses the conversion.
30 MINS: ENGLAND 15 FIJI 5
It's been a tremendous response from Fiji. Just as it looked like the game was drifting away from them they have dominated the last 10 minutes and pulled themselves right back in it.
Just over seven minutes to go in the first half.
PENALTY ENGLAND - Ford slots a penalty from right in front and England increase their lead to 13 points.
Just five minutes left in the first half now and Fiji have earned a penalty 30m out from goal, right in front.
Nadolo slots the penalty and Fiji close the gap to 10 points.
Is Nemani Nadolo the biggest goal-kicker in rugby history? 127kgs of penalty-slotting bulk
Two minutes left in the first half and it's been a mixed bag. Fiji came out of the gates very nervous and timid and dropped the ball with their first touch and conceded a penalty try in the first ten minutes. But then they found their feet and now look a real force to be reckoned with.
They are playing with confidence and flair. But England are still well worthy of their 10 point lead.
Into the final minute of the half now and Fiji will have the final attack. They are on the English 22.
A few nervous moments in defence for England but they managed to hold on.
But England have turned the ball over and have now won a penalty.
Ford's kick from just inside halfway falls just short and the players head into the sheds with England holding a 18-8 lead.
