Good morning and welcome to nzherald.co.nz's coverage of race 13 of the America's Cup, hopefully the final race of the regatta.
Emirates Team New Zealand still sit one race away from claiming the Auld Mug - will it be this morning?
Big night? Might be another one if all goes well...
Seems like we will get the first race today in at least. Hopefully that's all ETNZ need.
Where are you catching the action this morning? San Francisco Bay is, of course, the place to be, though Shed 10 on the Auckland viaduct looks humming as well.
Don't want to disappoint Mum.
Or prolong the agony any further. It feels like weeks, not days, ETNZ have been on match point.
We're about 20 minutes away from the first race. Hopefully the only race of the day! Is 8.30am too early for champagne?
The light breeze forecast (10-15 knots) have grown into stronger winds in San Francisco. OTUSA have replaced their bowsprit meaning they were expecting lighter winds - and could get ambushed by the heavier than expected breezes.
Any believers in the Oracle comeback out there or are we all wearing red socks?
Sounds like the light winds have in fact arrived. Single digits at times this morning, first time it's been like that in the regatta.
Grant Dalton will not be on the boat this morning.
