What now for Oracle? They've added Ben Ainslie to the crew and made changes to the boat over the last few days but still not enough upwind.
Even after winning the start yet again, they are facing a defeat yet again.
Still fairly light winds. Team NZ about halfway down this leg. Lead up to 520m.
Will be interesting what Barker will do prestart in race 7. He doesn't have to be aggressive as it's working so well trailing at mark 2.
Team NZ heading towards mark 4.
From there it's a short sprint to the finishline and a six point lead.
Mark 3: From 8 seconds behind to a lead of 43 seconds. Team NZ well in front.
From eight seconds down to win by 47 seconds. Another huge result for NZ.
"I thought the boys sailed a really nice run," says Jimmy Spithill.
"Time to focus on the next race and try and win that," says the Oracle helmsman.
In strong winds on Wednesday, Team New Zealand won by more than a minute. Today in lighter winds they win by 46 seconds. They are set for all conditions, meanwhile Oracle are winning the prerace starts. But that could be down to Barker being conservative knowing that he can catch up and pass on the upwind. Would be nice to see Team NZ lead from start to finish though, or does coming back and passing make it even better?
