Welcome to live updates of race day 10 at the 34th America's Cup. Emirates Team New Zealand can reclaim the Auld Mug today with wins in races 11 and 12 but going on recent recent it's not going to be easy.
Team Oracle USA's improvements to their boat and racing techniques has certainly made a race of this, excuse the pun, after Team NZ were cruising at the start of the regatta.
Race 11 begins at around 8.15am and race 12 is set to take place an hour later. The wind has settled from yesterday and looks like we'll have both races today,
Tom, it alternates each race. In race 11 Team NZ will have the favoured port entry. Oracle get it in race 12.
No, I don't believe so. It's all about having the inside line to the first mark, which isn't too far after the start.
We're about 15 minutes away from race 11. Will history be made today? Hang around to find out.
12 minutes to race start, 10 minutes to the crucial prestart...
The two boats are going through a few routine moves ahead of the race. Not far away now.
Both boats are expected to have made adjustments to configure their boats differently from how they were set up yesterday; winds of 25 knots and more blew off any chances of racing yesterday and both yachts were geared up for stronger winds.
The breeze has increased in the last hour. Already up to 18-19 kts.
